On Saturday, December 3, 2022, Holy Trinity Cathedral and the Pacific Central Deanery held its Annual Advent Retreat. This feature of the Nativity Fast gives us an opportunity to serve the Divine Liturgy together, have fellowship and meals with one another, and to learn from and with each other. This year’s theme was “Behold, I make all things new!” and we discussed what the coming of Christ means for us, today. Mitred Archpriest Basil Rhodes presided at the Divine Liturgy and offered the homily. The reflections and conversations were led by The Very Rev. Andreas Blom, The Rev. Dr. Gregory Matlak, and The Very Rev. Dr. Kirill Sokolov. Clergy and faithful from around the greater Bay Area enjoyed the warm fellowship and opportunities to reignite their fervor for the Gospel and to have a “new” beginning in Christ.
